Ten young Italian graduate students of universities, selected through a joint project of Fondazione Cariplo and Fondazione Triulza, on September 23 will present their experience with the Civil Society Pavilion in New York at the Global Summit on Youth of the United Nations.
Last May the young people took part in Milan AGA Meeting, the Annual General Meeting & Conference of European Foundations organized with the European Foundation Centre (EFC).
The task of the doctoral students selected: observing significant moments of confrontation between leading philanthropic organizations in Europe and North America and the cultural program of the Civil Society Pavilion of Expo Milano 2015. The young people were able to explore the concept of resilience through urban regeneration and cultural innovation, observing how the foundations support the community in situations of emergency and natural disaster. The paper presented by young graduate students - young reporter - was accepted by the scientific committee of the Global Summit.
