Presented in Cascina Triulza the project about the future of the Mobility Center: after the successful experience in Expo 2015, profit and non-profit organizations continue to work together for the accessibility of public places and large events such as fairs, ports, airports. This is Mobility Center Ltd., situated within the Lab-Hub for social innovation that will be the evolution of the Civil Society Pavilion after Expo 2015.
Since the beginning, Fondazione Triulza worked with the associations that deal with disabilities, Expo and other public institutions, including the Province of Milan and the Municipality of Milan, to make Cascina Triulza and the entire exhibition site accessible and useful to all.
During Expo the Civil Society Pavilion have been launched and hosted the information desk ExpoFacile and the Mobility Center: rental service of electric scooters and manual wheelchairs through which over 15,000 older people with disabilities or with limited mobility could not only to visit but to actively participate in the event. At first only 30 small scooters, 3 medium (for people over 120 kg) and 10 tandem, as a result of popular demand the service has expanded to 75 electric scooters in total, including 25 small, six medium and 5 tandem. And the management of the service made it possible to give employment to a total of 15 people including the disabled, women, young people and people over 50.

The Mobility Center was born thanks to the meeting and the partnership between companies working for years in the field of technology for accessibility.
