A real cheese factory to show the making of one of the most prestigious products of the Italian tradition. With this ambitious project the Consorzio Grana Padano DOP will be a guest in Cascina Triulza, the Civil Society Pavilion in Expo Milano 2015. The announcement came on January 29th in ExpoGate during the MULTICascina week, dedicated to the preview of the pavilion within a hundred days from the inauguration of the World Exhibition.

"Grana Padano, the DOP cheese most consumed in the world, has decided to take part in Expo 2015 in an environment that knows how to best frame their identity and that of his production chain. From here
the idea to place ourselves in Cascina Triulza, the only building that already existed within the exhibition site. An ancient and traditional building, typical of the Milan countryside, where we will set up a real cheese factory which will offer all visitors the 'genuine taste' of our work". Nicola Cesare Baldrighi, president of the Consorzio Grana Padano (that includes around 150 cheese factories in the area of the Po Valley, which produce a total of over 4 million and 500,000 cheese wheels each year) explains the decision to be present at Expo 2015 in Cascina Triulza, the Civil Society pavilion.
