Cascina Triulza, the Civil Society pavilion, and Expo 2015 organized on January 30th a meeting with representatives of other pavilions and of the Milan Consular Corps to deepen collaboration opportunities during and after the World Exhibition.
Sergio Silvotti, President of Triulza Foundation, emphasized the international and open character of Cascina Triulza: "The aim of the Civil Society pavilion is get Expo 2015 as an opportunity to build new alliances and new partnerships between all countries, institutions, companies and citizens and be able to leave an agenda of commitments and proposals for the future. Hence the need to begin to meet and work together with all countries and international companies participating to the Exhibition".
"Milan, considered the capital of the Italian Third Sector, host the first World Exhibition in which the civil society will have a pavilion dedicated entirely to their issues, proposals and experiences", reminded Stefano Gatti, General Manager Participants Division of Expo 2015.
Massimo Baggi, Dean of the Consular Corps of Milan and Lombardy, is willing to "collaborate and promote among all government institutions the opportunity for organizations of civil society in different countries to have a physical presence and to participate actively in the cultural program of Cascina Triulza ".
Clara Velez, UN Team Coordinator for Expo 2015, illustrated the UN presence in Expo 2015 stressing that "Cascina Triulza, will be one of the milestones of our installation we communicate our presence in the exhibition site."
